LJUBICEVO – The oldest stallion in Serbia “Ljubičevo” was renewed. This is an extraordinary stallion from when future champions are expected.
It looks like a million dollars. That’s what the Yale stud was paid at the auction in America. And the livestock “Ljubičevo” got it for free.
“Yale came to ‘Ljubičevo’ from England a week ago. It is a gift from fellow veterinarian Nebojša Petrović to the ‘Ljubičevo’ herd. She has been a resident of our herd since last Monday,” said Mirko Stojanović, director of the “Ljubičevo” PE said to the public service.
Yale had a very successful racing career in America and England, but was injured, so its price dropped dramatically. He is no longer on the track, but he has another task, also very important, that of passing on his extraordinary genes to future generations.
“It can be used in breeding for a long time, so it will be available not only to the ‘Ljubičevo’ stud, but also to all breeders in Serbia,” Stojanović added.
In the oldest Serbian stable, they hope Yale will create new champions, as “Ljubičevo” did. “That’s the goal. So after Vicenza and Remoz, we didn’t have such a good stallion. We hope he’s up to the task.” to our expectations and be, if not equal, better than Remoz and Vicenza, ”says Stojanović.
Although it belongs to the elite, Yale does not have a special treatment in “Ljubičevo”, it certainly does not have to fear the competition, and first impressions show that it liked the new environment.
