Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabić visited the construction sites of the Moravian Corridor by Pojate-Kruševac and estimated that the first sections of that more modern road will be completed in 2022.
In the budget for 2021, we have set aside 330 billion dinars or 5.5 percent of GDP for capital investments, Brnabić said, noting that the virus slowed down some projects but did not stop them.
No project has stopped, not even the rebuilding of the Infectious Disease Clinic, he cited as an example.
For the project to be completed, he believes, we must work every day, regardless of Saturday and Sunday, to ensure a growth of six percent of GDP in 2021.
We need to make sure the drop in 2020 is minimal, minus one percent or something better than that, said Brnabic, who visited the construction sites of the bridge over Jovanovacka with Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Minister Tomislav Momirovic and the director of the Corridor from Serbia Aleksandar Antic. rivers and railways, which will be almost 500 meters long.
Momirović said they are touring the initial works on the Moravian Corridor, which will connect Corridors 10 and 11 and give this area another perspective.
We could not even imagine before 2015 that we have so much economic strength to be able to build 110 kilometers of this road in full profile, he explained and appreciated that there are certain delays, so the works must be accelerated and returned to the primary deadlines.
