In addition, it would be good to use new planting materials, because they give better yields. The state has announced a public invitation for all those who want to produce brandy, for the state to provide support in the maximum amount of 15.5 million dinars for the construction of a distillery, equipment and promotion.

This was stated yesterday by the Minister of Agriculture, Branislav Nedimović, during his visit to Prilike near Ivanjica.

– We have secured the market for those who want to make brandy from fruit, a new agreement has been adopted with the Eurasian Union to export to the countries of that union, at zero customs rate – Nedimović pointed out. – I invite all farmers who want to do this business, to call. It’s easy to sell first-class products, but until now people have wondered what to do with lower-quality products. We want to add value to that and I invite everyone with a surplus of such assets to invest in distilleries.

The Minister of Agriculture also explained that it is important to use new planting material, because even with the application of the same agrotechnical measures, a better yield and income is obtained.

– It is important that we try to increase the yields by using new planting material, in the same area, with the same scope of work – emphasized Nedimović. – We expect a good price for raspberries next year.
