The director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Đurić, demands that the people who shot Serbian children in Donja Brnjica, near Pristina tonight, be urgently identified and detained.
In the statement that the Office presented to the media, Đurić called the incident a shameful and cowardly attack on “our youth in Kosovo and Metohija”, saying that it should be clarified as a top priority.
One of the attackers fired a bullet near the children and endangered human lives, and there can be no mercy for those people, Đurić says.
“The safety of children, regardless of their nationality, should be a matter of general consensus and minimal consent, because how can we work to reconcile and create a stable and safe environment in Kosovo and Metohija while there are people who think they can threaten children with weapons with impunity, “Đurić declared.
Without going into the circumstances in which the “savage attack” took place, Đurić recalls that Serbian children were killed and injured in terrorist attacks in Kosovo and Metohija and that therefore incidents of this kind can have unforeseeable consequences and provoke reactions. uncontrolled.
