On Friday afternoon, “Novosti” reporters visited the new toll road built under the Gazelle Bridge and made sure that there were no people at the stops. Something similar happens in the “Kula Beograd” and TC “Galerija” bus waiting rooms, where several passengers can be found reading the new timetable on the board and waiting for the desired bus.
– It is not clear to me why lines 91, 92, 553 and 551, which I travel regularly, no longer pass by the old main train station, like the others that leave from here – says Milica I., a resident of Sremčica , for our newspaper. – With this new schedule, we are losing contact with many lines in the city that stop at the bus station, which meant a lot to us before.
There were no people on the new toll road, as at one point two or three buses were parked at the stop, and the same situation occurs with passengers. We are convinced that GSP drivers also need a little time to get used to it due to this long announced big change.

– I came two hours before, to see how everything works – said one of the drivers to “Novosti”. – It certainly takes a bit of time, but this is not complicated at all. A colleague who works the first shift says that passengers ask him more if the buses of some lines go through the old train station, and when they receive a negative answer, the protest begins.
Numerous passengers using the aforementioned city lines ask many questions regarding the new stops, so one of the questions sent to our editorial office was whether the GSP planned to shorten the departure interval for bus lines leaving from Prokop, since the route for each of them was extended. by building new stops and turning points.

– The existing interval of departures from the new train station is very bad, it needs to be changed urgently – one of the citizens is outraged. – Also, why is line 36 not divided into two parts, which will have two different numbers. The existing names are completely confusing, as the words used, i.e. the outer and inner ring, are totally non-functional at the moment.

TRAMS STILL WAITING
DUE to the construction of a new pumping station in Savski trg, which is still in progress, car and bus traffic is only possible from Savska and from the direction of Belgrade by water towards Nemanjina. In the direction of Savska, it is not possible to go past Nemanjina now, but it is towards Karadjordjeva. Furthermore, the tram traffic from Savska to Nemanjina has not yet started.
