In yesterday’s trial, images were reviewed showing a person shoving a knife up his sleeve so that the handle was in his hand and the blade was facing his forearm.

The trial of Nedjeljko Djurovic, 28, accused of the brutal murder of a student Miloš Mileusnić (24) from Čačak on January 27, 2019, continued yesterday in the Belgrade High Court with the review of security camera videos. On the eve of this trial, Bojica Đurović, father of the defendant Nedjeljko, when the media called him a “murderer from Twitter”, sent a threatening message to our journalist on a private phone number: “You are a journalist and you know your work.” Say hello to your boss… “!

The threats began on January 15 and continued before and after each hearing at the Belgrade Palace of Justice, although a colleague did not appear at any of the trials. He texted him the first time after Christmas and said “you wish him and his family happiness”, but in the end he said “there are dead dwarves being born again”!

– Good luck to you with everything you do … both to you and to your family … Don’t let anything stop you in your fight for the truth … There are dead dwarves that are born again … above them … You are a real journalist … I wish you and your family good luck … Your friend who will not forget you … – is just one of a series of messages that Bojica sent to our journalist .

Judging from the messages, Bojica mentally realized that journalists are responsible for the arrest and trial of her son. Our colleague tried to call him and explain why he was threatened, but he declined. Then he sent him a message: “You’ll see who he is, what are you worried about? Let’s talk, don’t worry,” and in the end he blocked his calls.

In yesterday’s trial, the footage from the video surveillance cameras that recorded the accused was reviewed. Five shots show a man in a white jacket and one shows him shoving a knife up his left sleeve.

– I’m not sure it’s me. It’s my jacket, but it’s an unusual ride for me, especially because of those weather conditions. He may have the keys in his hand – he said.

The second video shows a person leaning towards the entrance of the building, but his face is not visible. He first holds the knife in his right hand, then moves it to his left, then left to right, and finally takes the money out of his pocket. He positioned the knife so that the handle was on the fist and the blade was toward the forearm. The prosecution believes that it is the same person in the four recordings, while the defense believes that it cannot be concluded whether it is the same young man.
At the beginning of the trial, a policeman testified who arrested the accused. He noted that Djurovic entered the store with bloody hands and money and was caught thanks to the cashier.

Bojica: Leave while you can

Bojica showed that he is consistent with himself, so the day before the trial he sent another message:

– Tomorrow is the hearing, and your friend GV (prim. Aut. Initials of the police witness) the witness did not appear for the third time … So you explained who you are … Leave while you can. As far as you know … – read Bojic’s message.
