Petrovcanin Milan Kalostrovic tried to extort 120,000 euros from Serbian businessman Srdjan Knezevic on August 24 in Budva, beating and harassing Aleksa Stankovic, son of Montenegrin prosecutor Ivica Stankovic, while his security guard, four members of the MUP, and all watched.

Srdjan Knezevic, former owner of “Knez Petrol”, told “Blic” what happened at the Budva “Hemingway” bar, where, as he himself says, he was meeting two business partners.

– Kaloštrović approached me when I met him before, because my company bought two trucks from his friend’s company and took me away from business partners. He slapped me several times and hit me in the body asking for 120,000 euros. I told him not to give him money, because I don’t owe him anything – says Knezevic.

After a few minutes of harassment, he returned to his desk, but soon Kalostrovic sat at the table next to theirs.

– A younger man appeared, with four boys in black, older. At the time, he didn’t know who he was. Both he and Kaloštrović started beating me and asking for money. I just owe them nothing. Kalostrovic said then that the debt would grow every day and would reach one million euros. He took my cell phone and called my wife. He told him to prepare the money and take it to Lower Pivljanina Street in Dedinje, which would otherwise cut me off – says Knezevic.

The attack was recorded by security cameras:

He claims that he insisted that he did not owe Kaloštrović money, and Petrovčanin and Stanković continued to harass him. At one point, Kaloštrović, as he puts it, pulled out a pistol and cut his leg with a gun.

– The man who joined Kaloštović phoned and said he was talking to the prosecutor. After about 15 minutes, a man appeared, when he would later recognize Nikola Borovčić as a prosecutor. After all that harassment, they invited me to go with them! I refused, business partners accompanied me to my boat and I went to Tivat, where my mother and son were. There in Tivat, I went to the police, reported what I survived and they took me to the doctor, because I had head and body injuries – says the businessman and adds that after that Kaloštrović was arrested in Budva and, as far as he knows, in They found him two rifles.

Later he recognized Aleksa Stanković as the man who abused him, but also the prosecutor Borovčić, who came to the bar at Stanković’s invitation.

According to “Vijesti” from Podgorica, Kalostrovic denied trying to extort money from Knezevic, and in the investigation, inspectors seized surveillance camera footage from the “Hemingway” bar, which allegedly shows Petrovcanin slapping Knezevic. Kalostrovic is accused of autocracy by the Kotor General Prosecutor’s Office, and on 5 October he was supposed to appear before Judge Momirko Tesic.

– He did not appear because in the meantime he was arrested in Serbia, where he was otherwise banned from entering. From what I learned, he entered Serbia illegally, he had a Montenegrin police badge. He is in custody and I don’t know if he intended to kill me – says Knezevic.

Prosecutor’s son: I have nothing to do with the incident

Aleksa Stanković, son of prosecutor Ivica Stanković, told “Vijesti” that he had nothing to do with the Budva incident, and explained that he knew Kaloštrović for years, as a tenant on Petrovac beach.

– Everything I read on certain portals is absolutely false. That night I went into “Hemingway”, saw Kaloštrović and went up to them for a drink. There was no fight, fight, shots in my presence. I had a drink with them, asked if they would listen to tambourines with me at another bar, and left when they said they could come later. It has nothing to do with me, nor did I know something was going on, nor do I want to interfere – he said.

Prosecutor Nikola Boricic also told “Vijesti” that he did not attend the incident at “Hemingway”, stating that it was “notorious lies”.

Who is Srdjan Knezevic?

Srdjan Knezevic owned “Knez Petrol” until 2016, when his father ran the company. He is in the Special Court, with a final sentence of 20 months in prison. In that proceeding, the court found that the organized criminal group, of which he was a member, harmed the state by smuggling oil for 100 million dinars, and he was convicted as a member.

Knezevic was in custody for almost 11 months, and the rest of his sentence, as he told “Blic”, he served the day before yesterday in Padinska Skela prison.
