Do you think military service should be restored?
Military service would reduce the need to hire professional soldiers, but one should think about where soldiers would be housed and what training they would have, he added.
“Unfortunately, by 2012, resources, such as barracks, recruiting centers, and training centers, have been decimated, so we must seriously think about where soldiers will be staying, what training and equipment they will have, and that the state and the Army they will benefit from it. “
He reiterated that this is being seriously considered, but that the decision will be made when it is mature and when all the arguments are heard in consultation with all the participants in the process, mainly with the Army and the General Staff.
