The Minister of Family Care and Demography, Ratko Dmitrović, believes that the extinction of villages is not prevented by the construction of residential buildings in large cities. Then he asked for balance.
That is, Drmitrović, who is otherwise the head of the Ministry of Family Care and Demography, made a comment today on Twitter about how to improve the demographic image of Serbia, but that, for example, the construction sector will not like. .
– The demographic landscape of a nation in residential buildings is not improving. Suburban settlements and towns have this option. After great suffering, Serbia was recovering biologically on the field. Every new multi-storey building, in BG, NS, Nis, Kragujevac, Vranje, Pirot … puts out fires in Serbia. Balance !!! – wrote Dmitrović.
As expected, there were no reactions to his proposal.
Many tweeters wondered what the state would do specifically on that topic, and there were some suggestions.
– To begin, ask the departments to illuminate and mark the roads in the outskirts and towns, then to make sidewalks and so on. Infrastructure – commented a tweeter.
Others believe that it would be logical “to build 3.0 and 4.0 apartments in the periphery and subsidize housing for families with more children and / or young married couples.”
– “Social” rental price or protected housing loan. Since with the people, in most cases, I’m afraid, it’s over. Whether they want to admit it or not, 80% of people want to live in the city. The only logical solution for the town is to enlarge the property, because only the “great” can “swim” in any way, says one of the comments.
Minister Dmitrović, by the way, had a similar observation about a month ago, when he also spoke about the fact that this “battle” cannot be won in the city or alone, but not only in the countryside.
He then said that for a nation to survive, a family must have two children, and we are currently at 1.52. He also said that he trusts the families of the town to “increase the number of inhabitants.”
