BELGRADE – In the last 24 hours, 4,739 people in Serbia were tested for the corona virus, 614 of them tested positive, and sadly, three people died.
Let us remind you, yesterday a record 757 people were infected in 24 hours, but it is interesting that last week, just seven days ago, there were almost three times fewer people infected in Serbia in one day: 214. There are 26 patients on respirators.
On Sundays, as a general rule, a smaller number of people are tested. As Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić pointed out today, in the coming days a further growth in the number of new infected with kovida-19 in our country is expected, so there could be more than a thousand in 24 hours.

In Vranje, 10 more new patients
According to the latest data from the Municipal Headquarters for Emergency Situations in Vranje, out of 60 samples, 16 people are positive for the coronavirus, of which 10 from Vranje, three from Presevo, two from Surdulica and one person from Vladicin Han.
30 patients were hospitalized in the Kovid hospitals of the Vranje Health Center, of which 14 tested positive for coronavirus. There are 21 patients with bronchopneumonia and 10 on oxygen, four patients were admitted, the same number were discharged, one of whom was transferred to the Nis Clinical Center. There are no children among those hospitalized and the current number of free beds is 150. On Saturday 65 examinations were carried out in the ATD ambulance, and the total number of first examinations is 36. In nursing homes and institutions 86 infected
The presence of the kovid virus -19 in 55 users and 31 employees- has been confirmed in social protection institutions and homes for adults and the elderly, as of today, the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veterans Affairs and Social Affairs announced today. The total number of cured users of social protection institutions is 1,084 and the number of cured employees in those institutions is 432.
Jablanica District: In the last 24 hours, four new infected
In the last 24 hours, four new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in the territory of the Jablanica district. The Leskovac Institute of Public Health claims that in the last 24 hours 36 results came from the “Vatreno oko” laboratory in Nis, of which 28 for the city of Leskovac. As specified, four results are positive and are people from the Leskovac territory. It is added that all the results from the “Vatreno oko” Nis laboratory were released for the people who were sampled at the Leskovac Public Health Institute, Leskovac General Hospital and the Jablanica district health centers in the previous days.
