In today’s session, the majority majority in the Bosnian National Council (BNV) declared the termination of the mandate of Muamer Zukorlic, the head of the list “Matica Bosnjacka” and the leader of the Justice and Reconciliation Party (SPP).

The fourth statement, which was presented to the media after the session, establishes that the councilor did not participate in the work of the Council for more than a year, which created the conditions for the mandate to be assigned to the next councilor of that list “.

In a statement to Danas, Zukorlic commented that the decision should be seen in the context of upcoming pre-election activities and “as a clear indicator of the two political entities that have the Council to draw attention to themselves.”

He evaluated that the intention of the decision was “to feed the tensions, which was his way, in almost all the electoral campaigns.”

– Recently, the “Vakat je” list, that is, the Sandzak Democratic Party (SSDP), announced that they would request the dissolution of the BNV, and today they made this decision. The public knows that I stopped attending Council sessions because my safety was compromised at the constituent session. I thought that due to my safety and all the consequences that could cause, it is better not to appear until the behavior of the majority changes – said Zukorlić.

He added that “such behavior indicates that BNV was privatized by two political groups and that it does not serve the national interests of the Bosnians at all, but exclusively the personal and party interests, including the misuse of budget funds.”

Zukoirlic said he viewed the revocation of the mandate “as a political provocation” to which they would react in cold blood and would not respond in any way.

The electoral campaign will continue in a positive tone, presenting the SBA’s program, results and activities.

He believes that today’s BNV decision will have no legal consequence and will not be verified by the competent state agencies. The current call for the BNV, which has 35 councilors, consists of three lists: “Self-determination” by Sulejman Ugljanin, who has 14 seats, “Matica bosnjacka” by Muamer Zukorlic, 13 and 8 seats, “Vakat je”, which had SDP support.

The “Samoopredeljenje” and “Vakat je” lists make up the majority on BNV, and “Matica bosnjacka” remained in opposition. There have been many disagreements between the majority majority and the opposition since the constituent session.
