Justice and Reconciliation Party leader and MP Muamer Zukorli said the party would participate in the formation of a government if it gets a ministerial post.

“We prefer cooperation and in that case we would be part of the ruling majority. But we have made it clear that we also want serious participation in the government, and if we do not participate in the ruling we will be a serious opposition,” said Zukorli.
Then he added that “a ministerial position is implied.”
“We have a whole range of demands that are reflected in certain specific projects, and then a certain responsibility at the middle and lower levels of government,” he said in an interview with Danas.
He did not specify which ministry he would seek.
“It is not defined unilaterally, but in any case, the ministry from whose position we will be able to achieve at least a significant part of our political objectives, that is, respond positively to the voters. What is the use of joining the government if you do not have the capacity to implement the party’s electoral program? ”
When asked if he would seek a ministerial position for him, Zukorli did not rule out that option either.
“I do not prefer it, but I do not exclude it. It depends on which ministry we are going to get, because for a certain ministry you have to have certain skills and the ability to do that work. That possibility depends on my participation and the government,” concluded Zukorli .
