Pulmonologist Dejan Žujović, president of the “For our people” movement, said today that he had made the final decision to stand in the elections for president of Serbia, to be held in 2022.

“I am sure that the opposition will win in the next elections at all levels. I hope that Aleksandar Vučić will peacefully admit the electoral defeat. I hope that he does not play because it can only end badly for him, not for us. That is why I take care of him,” he said Zujovic.
He says that if this government lasts more than two years, “we can erase the borders of this country because we will not exist as a state.”
Zujovic believes in a Serbia that would be “part and expensive” of our ancestors, governed by the Constitution and laws, and from which 50,000 young people and educated people would not flee every year “just because they do not have a membership card for the Serbian Progressive Party” .
“Serbia needs a president who is a collective component of this society. We do not need a president who separates, quarrels and insults the people. We do not need a president who brings fear and insecurity. We do not need a president who does not comply with epidemiological measures and whose behavior is a bad example for citizens ”, he said.
Zujovic emphasized that Serbia needs a president who adheres to the constitutional powers and who is a real example of what a person should be as a member of this society.
“I also hope that my colleagues from the opposition parties will replace salon politics with fieldwork. Against us there is a serious machine with a lot of money, a serious infrastructure and all the state resources at our disposal. They do not spend their money, but they take it from the state treasury without any restrictions. It is difficult for them to match, but if we in the opposition unite, it will significantly change relations on the ground, “Zujovic told Direktno.rs.
