The outcome of the conflict between Zorana Mihajlovic, Minister of Energy and Mining, and Dusan Bajatovic, Director of “Srbijagas”, could begin on Friday, when the working group for the reform of “Srbijagas” meets.
When asked yesterday if she would insist on Bajatović’s dismissal, the minister replied that it was not a question of whether she wanted to or not, and that she had no personal relationship with him. He added that the Ministry often does not receive the correct answers from “Srbijagas”, or does not receive any answers.
– I am informing the Prime Minister about that, that is his attitude towards the Government of Serbia – she said as a guest on TV “Prva” and added that the Government unanimously made the decision to reform that public company.

She told all the directors of public companies that the government’s decisions must be implemented, otherwise she will not be in that position or, as she added, she will not be a minister.
– Everything is potential, both his and mine, if I cannot implement reforms – said the minister.
Expect “Srbijagas” to provide information on all the investments that are being made, how they are being made and whether they are profitable.
He pointed out that there was no more time to wait for the reform of “Srbijagas” and added that the State Control Entity could not enter there for years. She noted that she was surprised that someone could make $ 2.4 million a month in a state-owned company.
– The reform of the gas sector in Serbia is important for the citizens. It can only lead to a reduction in gas prices and a better quality of gas for citizens – he said, adding that the company is in the interest of all citizens, and as an example he stated that the Government assumed more than 1,200 million debts of “Srbijagas”.

At the end of October, at the first meeting of the “old rivals” Zorana Mihajlović and Dušan Bajatović, conflicts immediately broke out and it all ended with the removal of the director of “Srbijagas” from the meeting. After Bajatović refused to leave the meeting, at the request of the minister, the security service allegedly removed him from office. Bajatovic declined to comment on the incident.
Mihajlovic evaluated former Minister Aleksandar Antic as a good and pleasant man who could not fight dragons.
– If I cannot fight the dragons, I will stay away from this place – Mihajlović said, adding that if she cannot, as a minister she will ask for the help of the Government, if she cannot, she will not be there.
– If I can’t, let’s see who can – concluded the Minister.
