The educators’ unions announced that the data, which Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabić announced two days ago on the number of infected students, does not match the data they receive from the camp and pointed out that classes should be interrupted to preserve health. of employees and children. Tomislav Zivanovic from the “Nezavisnost” union says that for H1 there are more sick children and teachers.

The Prime Minister stated that there are 39 positive students in primary schools and 52 in secondary schools, of which 22 are in Belgrade.

“Based on our data from most of the schools where our unions are, and that’s between 60 and 70 percent of the schools, it is estimated that on average there is one child in each school who is infected or infected,” Zivanovic said on the N1 Studio Live program.

It states that the data presented by the Prime Minister is “ten days old” and that the number is higher today.

Zivanovic says there is a problem, because the children are not sent to the Kovid clinic, but “they go home, spend a few days there and then go back to school.”

“Nobody goes into self-isolation. The prime minister mentions the children, not the employees,” says Zivanovic.

It also says that the employees and members of the “Nezavisnost” union are not in favor of online teaching.

“They are more in favor of taking a vacation while this is the peak, and then continue with classes in schools,” emphasizes Zivanovic and specifies that the vacation could last two weeks.

He added that the request was presented to the competent institutions.

“We hope they take certain measures according to the situation. They don’t have to listen to us, but look at the situation and provide safe working conditions,” Zivanovic said.
