The owner of the company “Wireless Media”, Igor Žeželj, tried to pressure the Council for the Fight against Corruption before today’s meeting, the subject of which would be that company’s contract with Telekom Srbija.

“The Anti-Corruption Council informs the public that, immediately before today’s meeting, Igor Žeželj tried to pressure the Council. The attempted pressure also motivated the Council to analyze the Agreement in greater depth and precision, therefore the Council will request information additional to the Government. The Council specifically asked Wireless Media and Telekom Srbija ad to submit a credible Agreement, because it was objected that the copy of the Agreement available to the Council is not complete and that the Council has no annexes to the Agreement.

“At the same time, the Council’s attention was drawn to the fact that the Agreement at its disposal was not legally obtained and is marked as a ‘trade secret,'” the statement added.

At the same time, the Council asked Igor Žeželj to make public the letter presented to the Anti-Corruption Council.

The council will inform the public of new decisions, the announcement says.

Remember the Vice President of the Council Miroslav Milićević previously announced that the anti-corruption body would discuss and give an opinion on Telecom today., because this is a topic that interests the public a lot.

Previously, a member of the Anti-Corruption Council, Jelisaveta Vasilić, wrote and sent an opinion to other members of the Council on the cooperation agreement between Telekom and the wireless media.
