Zelenović filed criminal charges for election irregularities in Šabac

The mayor of Sabac and holder of the “Sabac is ours” list in the municipal elections of that city, Nebojsa Zelenovic, affirmed that he filed a criminal complaint with the Belgrade Organized Crime Prosecutor’s Office against people who he believes prevented the citizens of Sabac “express their electoral will” and are free to vote in the local elections on September 5.

“What happened in the elections in Sabac on June 21 and September 5 was led and organized by criminals according to members of the Serbian Progressive Party, which is a crime called attack on the constitutional order of the state of Serbia. That is why we present today “A criminal report to the Organized Crime Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade against people who we believe prevented the citizens of Sabac from normally expressing their electoral will and voting freely,” Zelenovic told reporters.

Zelenovic said the criminals, several hundred of them, “exerted coercion, pressure, gave money and in other ways prevented the expression of free will” by Sabac citizens.

“We have brought criminal charges against Milan Ostojic Sandokan, Aleksandar Pajic, George Todorovic Burgos and Zoran Jevdjenic, head of the police administration at Sabac, Boban Birmancevic and Nebojsa Stojicevic Jarin de Sabac, Vladan Krasavac, head of the Macvanski administrative district and other Radojica, Radojica. According to him, along with the criminal charges, evidence with statements, photographs and video material was attached.

He added that “everyone saw what was happening” and that members of the Sabac Police Administration were witnesses, but that no one did anything to prevent it, stating that criminal charges were brought against the Head of the Sabac Police Administration.

A member of Zelenović’s legal team, Aleksandar Mijailović, told reporters that in the place where he was a member of the polling station, a group of Roma went to the polls in an organized manner, and that they answered yes to his question whether anyone organized them and paid them.

He added that the case of a woman who made a mistake at the electoral college was also recorded, and later complained that “if she does not vote, she will not be able to get the money.”

According to him, he has 123 witness statements and evidence of 260 violations of electoral rules, of which 90 are criminal offenses.
