The Criminal Chamber of the Zajecar Superior Court sentenced MS (65) to seven years in prison for a first instance sentence, which, according to what was established, in August last year, in a forest near the city beach, forced MR, a girl with a developmental delay, to satisfy him twice orally.
According to the verdict, by which the Zajecar Superior Prosecutor’s Office announced an appeal before the Court of Appeals, MS allegedly taught the girl to swim, who arrived alone at the city beach, without a bathing suit, but only in underwear. Instead, he touched the boy’s private parts under the water. After that, he would buy her an ice cream or a sandwich and take her to a nearby grove, where, as the girl told the investigating authorities, she orally satisfied him on two occasions. During the process, MS denied all the accusations, defending that the girl “made everything up”.
At the same time, the Zajecar Basic Prosecutor’s Office initiated a process against MR’s parents for negligence. The boy was placed in a foster family.
The Zajecar Social Work Center had previously been reported for neglecting the MRI, but later, through a sudden check, it was determined that such claims were not supported by evidence.
Furthermore, during the investigation, the minor told the authorities that MS was not the only one who did similar things to her. However, no other perpetrators have been identified.
