BELGRADE – The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, is staying in Zaječar today.
At the moment, Vučić is touring the final reconstruction works of the “Hajduk Veljko” primary school and the sports hall.
The president immediately asked when the students would come and received the answer that it would be in the second semester, which begins on January 18. He added that the works are overdue and that the contractors will probably be brought to the crown.
Then the president met with the students, talked about basketball, and received sneakers as a gift. He told the students that the ball was great but that the book was more important!
– Say hello to your parents, study hard and work! The ball is great but the book is more important! I love you very much – said the president.
Namely, the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić will visit today the works of several important projects in that city in Zaječar, and the first point of the visit is the final works on the reconstruction of the primary school “Hajduk Veljko” and the pavilion sports. These works are worth 245 million dinars. The “Hajduk Veljko” school has about 600 students, of which 327 in the lower grades and more than 300 students in the higher grades. After school, Vučić will visit the construction sites of the Temple of the “Ascension of the Lord”, and then attend the laying of the first stone for the construction of the City Stadium.
Together with the president, the Minister of Youth and Sports, Vanja Udovicic, and the director of the Public Investment Office, Marko Blagojevic, they also visit Zajecar, and the host is Mayor Bosko Nicic.
