Serbian President Aleksandar Vui, according to RIA Novosti, said in the Serbian public service that Russian leader Vladimir Putin and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov apologized for the inappropriate Facebook post of the Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson on the visit of the Serbian delegation to Washington.

Peskov confirmed it for RIA Novosti.

Wui said he had an “excellent phone conversation” with his Russian colleague.

Today, Serbian President Alexander Vui relayed that Russian President Vladimir Putin, in addition to Lavrov, apologized for Maria Zaharova’s inappropriate post on Facebook and told him that the Russian state was not behind him, let alone him personally.

“Putin, as well as Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, have never apologized to me for anything, and they both did for something like this, without my mentioning it,” Vui told RTS.
