The Miholj October, which meteorologists have been announcing for a long time, has timidly reached Serbia. Although the temperatures are far from summer in the coming days, a somewhat milder autumn awaits us.

It is predicted that in the next five days, the mercury in the thermometer will be around twenty divisions, and that the morning temperature will be a little more pleasant at 10 degrees.

Meteorologist Warning

Today, a yellow weather alarm is in effect in Serbia, indicating potentially dangerous weather. First of all, it refers to the appearance of low frosts in the early hours of the morning, which can be dangerous for drivers, but also bad for agriculture.

Forecasting weather events are not uncommon, but caution is needed if you are planning activities that are exposed to weather hazards. Information on forecast meteorological conditions should be continued. Don’t take unnecessary risks.

Return from flight

The cold and changeable weather with rain, characteristic of October and autumn, judging by the forecasts of the meteorologists, are an introduction to a real temperature roller coaster, in which a true Miholj straight summer awaits us at the end of the month.

However, according to George Đurić, summer has not yet given up, although we have already set foot in autumn, and in the coming weeks Miholjski leto will arrive.

– The end of October, from October 22 to 26, will bring us the summer of Miholja and temperatures of 21 to 27 degrees. Before that, a real autumn – he wrote.

Long-term forecast

Meteorologist Marko Čubrilo announced that in the coming days, strong cyclonic activity will hit Great Britain, western and north-western Europe, bringing rain and a strong southwest wind. In response to such synoptics in our part of Europe, the anticyclone will strengthen with a stable and warmer climate.

As we “tread” a lot in autumn, the night lengthens and the nocturnal cooling of the atmosphere is very pronounced, especially on clear and calm nights.

It will be the same in the next few days and the nightly lows are usually from 1 to 6, sometimes up to -2 degrees Celsius, but the daily highs from tomorrow, especially at the end of the week, will be in the range of 15 to 21, and sometimes around 23 degrees. Celsius. The wind will be mostly weak, from the south.

For next weekend, a certain change in the synoptics is being simulated, because the nucleus of the anticyclone would move a little to the north, which would allow a weak frontal disturbance to reach the Adriatic in conditions of weak secondary cyclogenesis.

That cyclone would bring us a temporary worsening from Saturday afternoon to Monday morning, sometimes with rain and less cooling. There is certainly more rain along the Adriatic coast and in the south of the region, while in the north it could be absent in some places. With the wind getting worse, it turns to the northwest and a passing storm along the Adriatic. On Sunday, the daily maximum is 9 to 16 degrees Celsius.

Starting next week, the anticyclone field will strengthen again towards us, while the transformed tropical system will move across the Atlantic towards Western Europe, further increasing the amount of energy around Great Britain with the development of a very strong cyclone south of Iceland.

On our part of the continent again stable with very cold nights and mornings, and due to the large difference in air pressure over eastern and western Europe in the Košava area, a strong southeast wind could start that would increase the subjective feeling of cold., while in that situation the coldest part of the region, next to the mountainous areas, would be, as usual, near Košava, the eastern tip of Serbia (Timočka and Negotinska krajna), where with a gloomy climate and low clouds the temperature would be around 5 degrees centigrade. landscapes ranged from 9 to 16 degrees Celsius.

Regarding the long-term vision, around November 3, the ECMWF’s control budget, with the significant support of its joint members, simulates a change in the weather forecast, raising an anticyclone in Western Europe, which would lead the cold air from Russia to the eastern periphery of that anticlon. Long-term CFSV2 has a similar idea, but GFS doesn’t have that signal yet.

In short, we have a better part of fall ahead of us, with cold and foggy mornings, but sunny and warm days, while the weekend follows a smaller temporary worsening.
