Thank you very much for coming to Serbia during the strongest wave and attack of the corona virus in Serbia and all of Europe and showing how much friendship the French state, the president and the government have with our country. Today an important agreement was signed. Before the end of next year, we will start serious construction works. We have a lot of work left, hard and hard – said the president.

Vučić said that the agreement is very important, because it will contribute to the modernization of the power grid, which, he says, has been discussed with “Schneider Electric” for a long time, but for various reasons, the signing has not yet been reached.

– Now the agreement has been signed, thanks to the determination of the President of France and the commitment of the French partners, as well as our hard work and progress – said Vučić.

He added that we have a lot of work ahead of us, to start construction works on the Belgrade metro project before the end of next year, on the first Makiš – Mirijevo line.

– This is an important line, which will modernize Belgrade and contribute to the improvement of citizens’ standards – said Vučić.

He thanked Macron, who was always understanding of the Serbian people, and reminded them of his historic speech in Kalemegdan.
