He recalled that ten selected teams, that is, a total of 55 young people under 40 from Serbia, worked on conceptual projects for ten units of the line park, stretches of about 4.6 kilometers in length, reported Beoinfo.
“We have received ten conceptual solutions and we are now in the phase of completing the detailed regulatory plan for the entire area from the Concrete Hall to the Panevaki Bridge, which should be on the agenda of the City Assembly session in January. After that, the project documentation for the entire space and if everything goes according to plan, the works could be offered at the end of next year, “Stoji told TV Pink.
The city assigned a basic task to the project, that is, the content of the area can be, Stoji said, and stated that this task was based on citizen surveys and the opinions of the profession.
“Each of the teams had freedom, but we had to direct them so that we didn’t get ten exactly the same units. The intention was to get a kind of signature circle of ideas, which wouldn’t be monotonous given the length of the space,” Stoji said. .
Younger generations are interested in newspapers, so a modern solution is easier to come up with in that regard, Stoji explained.
“This was an opportunity for young people to get involved in the projects we are working on. The risk with people who have relatively little experience paid off and we got fantastic solutions,” Stoji said.
In the end, the chief urban planner expressed his conviction that this would be the best project for the planning of public spaces in recent decades. Due to the size of the space, the works should last up to three years.
