The German company “Brose”, which started the construction of the factory in Pancevo, has announced a competition for dozens of jobs, and by the summer of 2021, when it should start working, 1,100 people will work in this industrial giant.

Of that number, almost 500 will have a high educational level. At the laying of the first stone, a few months ago, it was announced that the average net salary in this company will be up to 1,700 euros.
Currently, among the job announcements, on its official portal, the positions of electrical engineers, jobs in sales, production and purchasing are listed. There are positions for software and hardware developers, project managers, test technicians … All these positions, as experts in this field explain, will open the possibility of employment of workers from all over Serbia, but also the return of our people who already works in one of “Brose”. “Factory, all over Europe.
The company “Brose” is engaged in the production of electric motors for automobiles, steering wheels, oil pumps and motors for cooling fans. The investment amounts to 180 million euros and the foundations of the factory were laid in the new industrial zone “north” of Pancevo. The president of Serbia himself stressed the great importance that the German company chose Serbia for its investment. As he said in the laying of the first stone, the opening of this factory will mean a better life for the whole south of Banat, for Kovacica, Opovo and the whole part towards Kovin and Alibunar. “Brose” will mean an additional 450 million euros of export for us. Regarding the salary, workers will initially have 750 euros, engineers around 1,500, and in 2026 the salary should be between 1,900 and 2,100 euros.
The industrial revival of Pancevo was started by the German company “ZF”, which was inaugurated in June last year. Almost 160 million euros will be invested in this factory and, by the end of 2022, it will employ more than 1,000 people. So far several hundred of them are working and many of them went to Germany for training. Many young people from Pancevo, but also people from all over Serbia, got a job in “ZF”. With its arrival, the price per square meter in the city of the Thames skyrocketed dramatically.
The “Brose” and “ZF” companies, with their high-tech production, will soon make Pancevo the center of the automotive industry.
FOURTH IN THE WORLD
Germany’s “Brose” is the fourth largest in the world, when it comes to family businesses that supply the automotive industry. They develop and manufacture mechatronic systems for car doors and seats, as well as electric motors and electronics.
They operate in 24 countries, in 64 locations and have more than 26,000 workers. Their turnover is 6,200 million euros. Every other vehicle in the world is estimated to have at least one “Brose” product.
