TOPOLA – While preparing firewood in the forest near his village Zagorica near Topola, Predrag Milojević was amazed by nature in an unusual way. Crossing an oak, a cross appeared in the middle.
“I’ve never seen anything like it, although I cut wood almost every day and do carpentry. My family and I are extremely pious, that’s why we believe that this is certainly a sign from God, but that it is for the good, ”Predrag says for RINA.
Precisely because of the trade he performs, the young carpenter decided to save this piece of wood, on which, as he himself says, he will engrave a date, and then donate it to the local church in Zagorica.
Experts explain that the rings are always concentric circles, so the tree grows and thickens. There are no clear explanations for the phenomena, when a different shape appears, such as a cross, it is assumed that the tree may have had some anomaly in its development.
Everyone interprets the strange and incredible appearance of the cross in their own way, for some it is a warning from God, and for others it is God’s mercy. Whatever the interpretation, the appearance of the cross on the tree never left anyone indifferent.
