BELGRADE – Dozens of people gathered today at the New Bežanija Cemetery to say goodbye to the brave girl Minja D. (15), who died last Tuesday from injuries sustained in a fire that broke out in the apartment in Dorćol where she lived on Good Friday .
She was buried today in New Bežanija Cemetery, and her friends from Braća Baruh Primary School sent her to eternal rest with white and red roses and red balloons.
The sad procession left around 3 in the afternoon to the place where it will rest forever.
With the sobs and the sounds of the violin, the coffin was lowered into the cancer at sunset, exactly at 15:15, symbolically since she was only 15 years old. Minja was buried with the sad sounds of the violin, in a white coffin, without rites or priests because she was supposedly not baptized, and instead of speaking, a friend read a prayer for this prematurely deceased soul to be accepted into the kingdom of heaven. .
Let us remind you that the terrible fire was allegedly caused by a celebratory candle that tipped over and set the apartment on fire. The girl who was in the bathroom at the time, ran to the terrace to save herself.
It was taken from the neighbor’s terrace by brave painters who saw it asking for help. Draganić was admitted to the Reconstructive Surgery Clinic, where she had three surgeries and received skin from six donors. She was later transferred to the Tirsch clinic, where she died, probably due to a skin transplant infection.
