The situation with the crown in Serbia is very worrying, and in Belgrade, to say the least, alarming! Suffice it to say that in the past two weeks, 50 to 85 percent of all newly infected people were from the capital within 24 hours.

How dangerous the situation is is best demonstrated by the fact that the limit of 1000 infected people per day was almost broken today (there were 943 of them). Kovid’s ambulances are getting more crowded, as are the hospitals in the capital.

And statistics show that Belgrade has two and a half times more infected per 100,000 citizens than all of Serbia. That is, according to data from the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), in the last 14 days, Serbia has 206 corona patients per 100,000 inhabitants.

This figure for the Serbian capital is much more alarming: in 14 days, 7,564 new cases of kovida-19 were registered in Belgrade, or even 444.9 per 100,000 inhabitants!

Based on the number of infected per 100,000 people, the ECDC classified all states into nine crown zones, from green to black. Currently, Serbia is in the sixth grade, the so-called dark purple (150-300 per 100,000), while Belgrade was penetrating deep into the seventh so-called pop star (300-500 per 100,000), and if the number of patients continues growing in the coming days, as announced, the Serbian capital could end. and in the penultimate gray zone (500-10,000 infected per 100,000).

A few days ago, the mayor of Belgrade, Dr. Zoran Radojicic, announced a possible tightening of epidemiological measures in the capital, while his deputy, Goran Vesic, said that he was not thinking about the curfew.

– We will probably have to step up the measures. Epidemiologists analyze the data and, based on that, prescribe measures (if and when we will have a shortage of work hours in the catering facilities is up to them), Radojicic said as a guest on RTS.

He added that “parties, celebrations and celebrations are the places where the greatest risks for the transmission of the corona virus are found.”

A few days ago, Dr. Predrag Kon announced possible restrictions due to the difficult situation in Belgrade.

– In Belgrade, we have an increase in the number of infected people day by day. Perhaps first there will be certain restrictions for the capital – said Dr. Kon at the time.
