A resident of the building (43) was seriously injured in a terrible explosion, after which a fire broke out around 6 p.m. in one of the two-storey buildings on the branch of Miloš Obrenović Street, near the former barracks of Užice.

She suffered burns and was transferred first to the hospital in Užice and then to Belgrade.

As we learned, firefighters evacuated six more people.

The detonation took place in the second floor apartment, after which a fire broke out that spread to the attic apartment. The attic roof collapsed due to an explosion in the apartment below.

According to the first information, it is assumed that the gas bottle exploded.

The firefighters put out the fire, and in front of this building are currently all the tenants who fled the building in panic. They say the explosion was violent, and scenes of the collapsed walls collapsing in the building’s courtyard attest to how strong it is.

Tenants in this, but neighboring building, say gas was felt in their apartments for a long time, even though the buildings were not gassed.
