In a conversation with the TAS S agency, Vuccic said that Serbia is also talking to other countries about the vaccine, including Russia.
– For example, when the campaign against the Russian vaccine started, we already talked about it. So I said that I could accept, but only if the Serbian health institutions approved it. We expect the vaccine to be ready in October or November, when the three-trial phase of the vaccine ends – said the President of Serbia.
TAS S adds that Vuccic is ready to use any vaccine against Kovid 19 in Serbia, that it is effective, and that it is interested in the arrival of the Russian in Serbia as soon as possible.
– The Ministry of Health is talking with competent Russian experts on this issue – he added.
The discovery of the vaccine will result in the end of economic problems, strengthening ties between Serbia and Russia, believes the president of Serbia.
– I would like to congratulate the Russian scientists for this achievement and thank them for their support – added Vučić.
He added that Serbia will continue to develop partnership relations with Russia, and that during the recent visit of the European Commissioner for Enlargement to Belgrade, he said that he was proud of the friendly relations with Russia, although Serbia was criticized in the European Commission report on Serbia. .
– I have no secrets about it. Just as I say in Russia that Serbia is on the European path, I also tell European officials that Serbia will continue to develop partnership relations with Russia. And I’m proud of that – said Vučić.
He also noted that Belgrade and Moscow maintain close contacts at a high level, as well as that the Serbian side informed Russia about the talks in Washington.
“No one in Russia, including President Putin, told us anything,” said Vučić.
