BELGRADE – Members of the Belgrade Ministry of the Interior, in two separate actions, seized more than 25 kilograms of drugs and arrested two people.
The Belgrade police, in cooperation with their colleagues in Novi Sad, found about 25 kilograms of marijuana during the search of the house in Bac, where suspect PB (1988) is staying.
Suspect PB was ordered to be detained for up to 48 hours and will be taken to the Novi Sad High Prosecutor’s Office, along with a criminal report.
In another action, in Obrenovac, the police seized about 200 grams of heroin and arrested DD (1981).
During the stop, the suspect threw a bag of heroin, which the police immediately found, and a small amount of this drug was found in his apartment.
The suspect DD was ordered to be detained for up to 48 hours, and he will be taken to the Belgrade Superior Prosecutor’s Office, along with a criminal report.
Both are suspected of committing the crime of unauthorized production and distribution of narcotics.
