Dr. Darija Kisić Tepavčević stated tonight on the Kurir television program “Usijanje” that it is not true that all those who return from foreign countries to Serbia have to go to the Kovid clinic, but they will have to do certain tests through of a portal specially designed for this.
“Citizens will receive a certain instruction and health warning at the crossing and must register from a certain portal, enter their LBO and identification number. Then they will complete a short questionnaire, the so-called self-assessment with a basic set of potential symptoms, and then If not presents symptoms, you will get a list of measures to follow, and you will be told that the person is required to do so within ten days of arrival at the clinic. “Once the test is completed, all people can keep that self-assessment and, if necessary, show that they have both the registration and the withdrawal, “he said.
He added that if there is a suspicion of the presence of the virus, citizens will be able to automatically contact Kovid’s ambulance and schedule an examination.
The doctor explained that according to the latest information, about 75,000 of our citizens crossed the border with Montenegro, about 100,000 with Croatia and between 2,000 and 3,000 with Egypt and Turkey. Kisic Tepavcevic added that a large number of our citizens are in countries that are “at risk” and that all will return to Serbia, so new measures have been introduced.
When asked if she was considering a new state of emergency, Dr. Kisić said that it “does not announce anything”, but that such a situation was absolutely justified at the time it was introduced.
“At the second peak, we had the most patients between the ages of 20 and 40. These are the people who are active and who have been most exposed. Older people are the most jealous and respect measurements the most. “We have seen it in nursing homes. Wherever the virus is allowed to enter the elderly population, it has spread like wildfire,” she said.
There is much controversy about this vaccine, and it has hardly been done yet. All the professional and scientific public eagerly await her. When it comes to seasonal flu, the good news is that the flu season in the southern hemisphere was extremely mild. Practically the smoothest of this century. Most researchers explain that this is because preventive measures and vaccination against influenza were used.
“The flu vaccine will be available in early October,” said Dr. Daria, adding that it would not be a problem if, in addition to this vaccine, a vaccine against kovid was received, if it existed at that time.
Kisić Tepavčević explained that there is no possibility of differentiating between the symptoms of kovid and seasonal flu, and that the presence of the virus can only be determined in the laboratory.
“There is no single symptom and sign that exclusively indicates kovid or flu. Only a laboratory can determine that,” he said, adding that many people who have had a cold think they have had the flu.
