The unusual robbery that took place yesterday at Sasa P.’s apartment in Zvezdara, when the robbers broke in posing as policemen, stole 100,000 euros and fled, continues to intrigue the public and new details have emerged in the meantime.
The victim of bogus police officers who, for the sake of persuasion, had forged police credentials with them, is the well-known Belgrade investor Sasa P., who was already known to the public when he bought Draza Mihajlovic’s house on Bregalnicka Street in Vracar to build a facility there.
– I didn’t buy the house on purpose because Draža Mihailović lived there, but the opportunity arose. I have been doing this business for many years and when I find a facility that has a suitable location in the market, I go for it – Saša P. previously said for “Blic” and explained that everything was done legally, that he had the necessary permits .
Regarding the proposal from just over a year ago to include a museum dedicated to Draža as part of the future multi-story building, he said that he could not donate part of the building, although he is an admirer of the character and work of Draža Mihailović but would like the museum to be open.
– I did not communicate with Draža’s grandson Vojislav, I heard that there was an initiative to open a museum. I support that idea, I would be willing to give up some of the proceeds and help in that way, but I cannot fully donate the space. It would be good to organize donations, I think that people from the diaspora would help and I really would like their museum to be in the building that I erected – explained the investor at the time.
This time, Saša P. found himself again in public, but as the victim of fake policemen. They took 100,000 euros out of Sasa P.’s flat, which he had withdrawn from the bank the day before. The thieves are suspected of knowing exactly that, and that they were just waiting for the right moment to break into his home where he was with his sister at the time.
– Lately, unknown people have been walking around the building and supervising it. Sasha and her sister were tied up, they even had a gun with which they were threatened. They hit him once, because he probably didn’t want to tell them where the money was right away, and then he had to do it because he was scared and tied up – says an acquaintance of the “Blic” investor.
There are no cameras in the building where Sasa P. lives, making it difficult to find thieves. Apparently, the investor Sasa did not want to install cameras in the building in which he lives.
– Here, all young people buy very expensive apartments, drive expensive cars … Most of them are known to be involved in crime. Only someone is a family man engaged in legal business – “Blic” learned from the interlocutor who lives in that area.
