BELGRADE – Serbian Assembly President Ivica Dačić met with Interior Minister Aleksandar Vulin today, while Finance Minister Siniša Mali explained to JS President Dragan Marković Palma what bitcoin is.

-I know this is quite complicated, because I just asked Minister Vulin how the police will seize illegally acquired bitcoins, but we are already getting into metaphysical discussions, and that is not on the agenda now, Dacic said.

Markovic previously asked Mali to explain what bitcoin is, and the Minister of Finance explained in detail how cryptocurrencies are used as a means of payment.

The current session’s agenda also includes the Digital Property Bill, which solves cryptocurrency trading, and as Mali explained to MPs, it proposed the law because they did not want Serbia to be left behind in the digital economy.
