Where is the money from Washington? – Personal attitudes

The document signed by Aleksandar Vučić in Washington is titled “Economic Normalization” and is publicly called “Economic Agreement”.

However, I must point out that there is almost no economy in it, except in three points: in supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, in accessing “mini-Schengen” (which has not yet come to life), and that it will work to ensure that the US development corporation opens offices in Belgrade. Almost 90% of the document deals with other topics. So it is, at least officially, about economic normalization, but without the economy.

For years, there has been speculation about what Vučić could get from the United States in exchange for “cooperation” to solve the Kosovo problem. Investments, arrivals from large companies and even a fleet of F-16s were mentioned as gifts.

And now it turns out that Vučić signed an agreement with the Priština delegation (for the first time, Kosovo was mentioned without resolution 1244, the famous “star”) and still caused immeasurable damage to Serbia in relation to other partners, and all for free? ? It will not be.

Let me remind you of the provisions of the Washington document, Vučić insulted China (prohibiting the use of his technology), Russia (with whom he had already sent Marko Đurić and Vulin to fight), the Arab League and Turkey (due to the embassy in Jerusalem) and Iran (because Hezbollah), so Sunnis and Shiites at the same time, which is almost impossible.

In addition, he directly endangered the safety of Serbian soldiers in the peacekeeping mission in Lebanon, who are located on Hezbollah’s territory in that country, and Vučić has just declared Hezbollah a terrorist organization. Finally, he gave permission for Israel to recognize Kosovo, even though it was the last American ally to resist recognition.

We can talk about Aleksandar Vučić’s motives, but we know that he is calculated enough and that he is not stupid to accept all these huge concessions, for free, without any financial aspect.

Two nights ago, as a guest on a national television newspaper, I said that the planned financial package for Serbia was intentionally omitted from the text of the agreement. I received this information directly from well-informed sources in the US, who claim that aid to Serbia in exchange for concessions on the deal should have amounted to around eight billion, roughly $ 1000 per capita.

It is not clear in what way: either through investments, large projects, budget support or direct financial injection. As soon as the information was published, the entire media machinery of the regime attacked me, which shows that I am on the right track.

After all, the financial package was announced in the previous days by the media close to the SNS, on the covers that read “Trump’s billions are coming.” Petrit Selimi, Thaci’s former foreign minister, wrote on Twitter the day the agreement was signed that the US economic package for Serbia and Kosovo amounts to $ 13 billion.

So why isn’t that in the document? Where did the money go?

Why is there almost no economy in the “economic normalization” agreement? Why was the four-member delegation made up of the Minister of Finance and the President of the Chamber of Commerce, if the economic package was not the issue? The key question is: has anyone gotten “embedded” in that money and where will it end up? Did someone take the money in exchange for accepting this document which, in my deep conviction, is very detrimental to the vital interests of Serbia? These are questions for Vučić, Mali, Čadež and Đurić. Serbia awaits answers.
