At 3:00 p.m. on April 29, 2020, 8,724 coronavirus patients were registered in the Republic of Serbia, 78,942 were examined, 5,579 in the last 24 hours, of which 227 were new. 173 people have died, five in the past 24 hours. 2,470 people were hospitalized, 78 of them with a respirator, while 1,292 were cured of the COVID-19 virus.

The largest coronavirus infected in Belgrade is 2,122 people, which is 27.38 percent of the total number infected, and 1,189 people in Niš, or 15.34 percent, said the deputy director of the Batija Institute, Darija Kisic Tepavcevic .

Other cities with more than 100 confirmed cases are: Cuprija, Leskovac, Krusevac, Valjevo, Aleksinac, Paracin, Jagodina, Bor, Prokuplje, Smederevo and Novi Sad.

In these cities, the proportion of infected people is in the range of one to two percent, added Tepavcevic Kisic.

He says that the virus has been confirmed in almost all the cities of our country, but that it is a smaller number of cases and sporadic diseases.
