Tomorrow we can relax again and enjoy slightly higher temperatures. The forecast for next week announces daily temperatures of up to 30 degrees, but then comes the cooling.
– The meteorological start of autumn does not coincide with the calendar. This year we had an extended summer and the extremely hot weather for this time of year will continue until September 25th. After the change in terms of cooling, it will be cloudy and rainy, and the daily maximum temperatures will be seven to ten degrees lower. It will last five or six days, and then in October it will be relatively stable, moderately warm and with longer dry spells, reveals meteorologist Nedeljko Todorović.
However, as he says, after September 25, we can say goodbye to the summer temperatures.
– In October, it is unlikely that it will jump more than 25 degrees, normally it will be 20-25. We will have more dry days, I can say that. But each subsequent cooling lowers the temperature and does not bring it back to the previous one, notes Todorović.
In translation, you should take advantage of the next warm days and say goodbye to summer for this year. Based on RHMZ’s seasonal forecast, we are in for a somewhat warmer and somewhat drier fall compared to the multi-year average.
In Belgrade and its wider surroundings, the average minimum air temperature for October is predicted to be 9.6 degrees and the average maximum around 19.1. The monthly amount of precipitation during October will be below or within the limits of the multi-year average with values on average lower by about 8 mm compared to the multi-year average. In Belgrade and the wider area, the amount of October precipitation will be around 37mm, it was announced on the RHMZ website.
