A Kraljevo man (25) was killed in a traffic accident that occurred half an hour before midnight on Saturday in the Grdica settlement in Kraljevo, while another person (21) was seriously injured and is in the Kraljevo hospital.
The accident occurred when a “BMW” car, moving from Preljina towards Kraljevo, exited the roundabout for an unknown reason, crossed into the left lane and collided directly with a “Volkswagen” with Kraljevo license plate coming in the opposite direction.
Due to the force of the impact, the “Volkswagen” bounced and hit the “BMW” that was in the convoy of vehicles. On that occasion, a man from Kraljevo was killed instantly, he was in the “BMW” in the passenger seat, while the driver of the car (21) suffered serious life-threatening bodily injuries and is in the General Hospital “Studenica” from Kraljevo.
Photos from the accident scene also show how terrible the accident was. One of the posts was completely ripped out and discarded a few feet away, and the concrete planter six feet behind it was partially destroyed.
At the scene of the accident on Sunday morning, it is presumed that the closest relatives lit a candle for the rest of the soul of the deceased young man.
The information that the driver of the “BMW” was in an alcoholic state at the time of the accident and that he was already a participant in two traffic accidents on Sunday could not be confirmed or denied by any of the authorities, and the media were denied the initials of the tragically injured youth.
