And they repeated the story that they have nothing to report other than personal luggage, showing customs officials their wallets in which they actually had 10,000 that can be carried across the border without reporting.
However, a personal search found another 25,100 euros in the jacket pocket worn by the 46-year-old gypsy pilot.
Undeclared money will be held until the misdemeanor court process is complete.
