“In our crisis headquarters it was discussed that there was a change in public transport. The situation is better, ”he said, adding that the point is not punishment, but rather that people behave responsibly.

Vesić said that the epidemiological situation in Serbia was discussed at the Belgrade Crisis Staff session.

“She is at a turning point, if we do not adhere to all the measures in a week or two, the situation will change completely and we will reach a situation where we do not have free beds in the health system,” said Vesić-

He said there is a period when people will spend more time indoors and a period of glory, so new measures were discussed.

“It was said that the situation in public transport is better, but there are people who still do not wear masks,” he said and called on the belgraders to adhere to the measures.

Vesić called on everyone to respect the measures, noting that the catering facilities in Belgrade will run until 11pm, as decided by the crisis staff of the Republic.

“The measures have been taken on time and if it turns out that we are going to endure the next wave, the celebrations in late October and in November will be good,” he told Prva TV.
