“Complaints were also written about the light at the top of the stairs, but here we are, moving with them every day, they are in a desperate state, it is very slippery in winter and the plaster has fallen off, something has to be done”, added the neighbor.
It is faster to get to Ada, transport, work, market, store, shopping center … The stairs leading to the Lazarevacki drum shorten the way to school. They have exactly 169 steps.
“Now I started using them because my grandson went to school, not before, but the stairs are horrible, you see how it collapsed and the children often slipped and could fall,” says a neighbor from that part of the city.
The municipality of Cukarica renovated a staircase a few months ago.
The municipality of Čukarica replied to RTS that they went to the city for the reconstruction of the stairs in Lazarevacki Drum, because a complete reconstruction is needed, which means that it is a capital investment.
