The Italians claim that Stellantis believes that the factory in Serbia is extremely important and that lately he has been working on the Fiat 500 L model.
The aforementioned vehicle has already finished its career and therefore the question arises as to when the 500L will definitely leave the stage and which model can be manufactured in this factory, assuming that Stellantis wants to continue investing in Serbia.
In the past, there have been rumors about the possible replacement of the Fiat 500L by a variant of the Fiat 500, called the 500 Giardiniera.
We cannot rule out the possibility that Stellantis decides to produce this model in Serbia, which may be given another name when it is finally launched on the market.
On the other hand, others are inclined to start production of a new compact SUV at the Kragujevac factory in the coming years, which could be born on the CMP platform and represents a kind of twin of the future Alfa Romeo B-SUV and Jeep. B-SUV.
In the coming months, Stellantis should clarify the fate of its factory in Kragujevac, and we will finally know which model will be manufactured at that factory in the future.
