What do they bring and who has to quarantine?

A mask, home isolation for those who are positive, as well as home quarantine for those who have been in contact with the infected will be mandatory and strictly controlled.

Whoever violates that will bear the sanctions. Amendments to the law will also be made this week in Parliament, as authorities say it is a problem to punish those who violate anti-epidemic measures.

What matters most to employees is how they will be collect sick leave as well as who opens sick leave.

The quarantine measure, that is, sick leave, is carried out by an infectious disease specialist or another doctor and is notified in writing to the competent institute of public health, but also to the sanitary inspector.

In both cases, the decision on the measure imposed is also a certificate of incapacity for work, during which the employee pays 65 percent of salary.

Mandatory home isolation for all, even for asymptomatic patients who are positive for kovid 19 or with a mild clinical picture of the disease.

It will be ordered by an infectious disease specialist in accordance with the order of the corresponding minister. The same doctor will inform the competent epidemiological service and who will control compliance with this measure will be prescribed by the Government of Serbia.

Companies will no longer decide for themselves how the illness of an employee who is positive or has been in contact with a positive person will be managed, but isolation is mandatory and the worker will receive 65% of salary.

Everyone who has been or is suspected of being in contact with an infected person enters home quarantine

Restrictions on freedom of movement and the obligation to control the state of health shall be prescribed in 14 days from the last suspicious contact.

Vaccination will be recommended or even mandatory for certain categories of the population.

Sanctions are prescribed for violating the measures, and all persons in isolation will be controlled

The implementation of personal protection measures, especially the use of masks indoors or outdoors, if so prescribed, will be specially controlled.

The implementation of this measure will be controlled jointly by the health inspection, the communal inspection and the communal militia.
