WHAT EXACTLY DOES THE PROHIBITION ON GATHERING MORE THAN 5 PEOPLE MEAN? Dr. Kisić explained to some extent how the new measure will be implemented! This is what it means for cinemas and theaters

We have decided to reduce the number of people who can meet indoors and outdoors, which has so far been limited to 30 and now has been reduced to 5 people – said Dr. Darija Kisić Tepavčević today and thus confirmed the findings that “Blic” already posted today.

She specified what that means in practice and stated that it is not just a recommendation, but an obligation that will be legally regulated!

– As the previous measure was regulated by law, so will this one. This is not at the recommendation level. The prohibition applies to meetings at public events, including celebrations, conferences and seminars. They refer to organized meetings. It does not refer to the school and work environment – he emphasized.

Cinemas and theaters remain unchanged

As for the institutions of cultural manifestations, he added, a limit of up to 500 people has been maintained for cinemas and theaters, but with the prescribed measures.

– That turned out to be good. We know how to sit, how to wear a mask. We saw how neighboring countries were doing it and we copied it – said Kisić, adding that the measures depend exclusively on us.

He explained that we must influence each other, speaking of public transport.

How will the violation be punished?

When asked by Blic when the law will be adopted that will allow punishment for failure to comply with the measures, Dr. Kisić said:

– It takes eight days from the passage of the law for it to take effect and the law on the protection of residents against infectious diseases now has some changes, and the most important thing when it comes to preventing covids is the imposition of a mandatory sentence, which can be imposed on the spot. The amount of the fine is 5,000 dinars for citizens, and 30,000 to 300,000 for legal entities that did not allow to respect the measure – he said.

Asked if the non-application of the measure that prohibits the gathering of more than 5 people will be controlled and sanctioned in the same way, she said that “these are measures that allow immediate sanctions if any of the measures are not respected.”

RESTRICTIONS ON THE WORK OF CATERING FACILITIES

He said that shortening the work of the restoration facilities is something that is being considered.

– The fact that something works until 11 at night does not mean that we should go often and sit until the end. If the situation develops dramatically as it is dramatic in the world, that is a measure that will potentially be adopted – said Kisić.

As he said, more radical measures are taken when the health system can no longer resist.

Holidays for high school students too

In addition, he added, it was decided that high schools will also have a mini vacation on November 11, 12 and 13. Initially, this was decided only for the elementary schools, and we also decided on the secondary schools to match this mini vacation. That also means for the area of central Serbia and Vojvodina

He said that experience has shown that our behavior is very influential.

– All the countries of the world have the same preventive measures. We have not yet decided on the most radical measures, such as restricting circulation or working hours at the facilities. The situation is extremely unfavorable – he added.

– There is a significant trend of increasing incidence of covida throughout the world. Respiratory infection season is also expected, but the world hoped it would not. The entire region is breaking records. There were 34 deaths in Croatia and 54 in Bosnia and Herzegovina, said Dr. Darija Kisić Tepavčević.

The Crisis Staff today proposed that the meeting of more than five people, both inside and outside, be prohibited.

The measure to prohibit meetings was discussed in the previous days in the professional public.

The number of infected in a day before yesterday rose to a record of 2,412, and the epidemiologist prof. Dr. Branislav Tiodorović said yesterday that when the number exceeds 2,000, the only effective measures are to close all bars after 9 pm and limit the meeting to a maximum of five people. We remind you that these measures are already valid in some cities in Serbia where an emergency situation has been introduced.
