As we learned unofficially, Dobrivoje D. arrived at Kragujevac hospital the day before yesterday, saying that he tried to commit suicide by drinking hydrochloric acid, when he saw that his unmarried wife had committed suicide in the same way. However, he later told the police that he beat her. Police found the lifeless body of a woman in a house in the Bresnica settlement, and the exact cause of death will be determined by an autopsy.

According to a neighbor’s story, Ljubinka remarried a few months ago, that is, she went to live with another man. Dobrivoje’s daughter supposedly mediated on that. However, she could not bear it and did her best to bring Ljubinka home. They had previously lived together for several years.

– Came here again five or six days ago. We didn’t know each other better, we heard that they often fought. Only when the police arrived did we find out that they found her dead in bed – says a neighbor.

Dobrivoje used to work at “Zastava”, but neighbors say she was out of work for more than 15 years. The electricity in the house in Dobrivoje, where he lived with Ljubinka, has been off for a long time. Neighbors say he has children from previous marriages who did not live with him.

– Ljubinka is his third wife. She was diligent, she washed, cleaned everything she could in those conditions, went to the nearby forest and brought firewood in her bags to keep warm. He was also begging on the streets of Kragujevac. What exactly happened in his house, until now nobody knows for sure, they say in the neighborhood.

Autopsy

The Kragujevac superior prosecutor’s office ordered an autopsy of the unfortunate woman’s body, and after that, the cause of death will be known with certainty. Her unmarried husband Dobrivoje D. is currently accused of domestic violence with fatal consequences.
