As they stated, on two occasions, in May and June, the HRC asked the government to deliver the minutes of the Crisis Staff sessions, the decision on the formation of the SC and information on all the members of that body and their functions.

In June, this organization presented an initiative to the Protector of Citizens to initiate a control procedure and directly supervise the work of the Ministry of Health, emphasizing that the potential concealment of data related to the public health of citizens can cause irreparable and inconceivable damage. .

The BCLJP received no response from any institution, while the Protector of Citizens said in a statement to the media three days ago that it is currently “determining the bases for the control of the competent institutions.”

– It is not very clear what exactly the Protector is waiting for, that is, what is the “basis of control” for him, if the BIRN data has not been made public until now, significant harassment of citizens on that occasion, cease of inform citizens about the number of infected and 19 deaths from kovids by cities and regions…, recent statements by Dr. Predrag Kon – member of the Crisis Staff, dissatisfaction of doctors within the protest “United against the kovids” and the like . Unfortunately, this is not the first case in which the reaction of the Protector of Citizenship to violations of citizens’ rights has been waiting for months and the final decision is never received, stated the BCLJP.
