Although yesterday in Avala and the surrounding settlements around Belgrade, a few inches of snow fell and the snow cover quickly melted due to temperatures above freezing. In all likelihood, there will be no more snow in the cities this month.
According to meteorologists, the sun, wind, rain and sleet will change in the next 30 days in our country. The formation of the snow cover is only possible in the mountains. Cold and windy weather awaits us this week as well, as a change follows for the weekend, so temperatures could rise as high as 15 degrees.
– Today in Serbia it will be dry and very cold, only in the extreme south and southeast there will be sleet and light snow in some places. Cold weather is also expected on Tuesday, but with sunny intervals. Wednesday will be cloudy, with a stronger southeast wind. Thursday will be cloudy with rain and a strong basket will begin to blow. Somewhat warmer weather awaits us on Friday, but a strong wind will continue to blow, in the south of Banat with storm surge. The maximum temperature on Friday will be up to 11 degrees – says Djordje Đurić, meteorologist of “Weather2Umbrella”.
As he himself adds, even warmer weather awaits us on Saturday and Sunday, when temperatures will reach 15 degrees in some places.
– During the weekend, the temperature will be above average for this time of year, in the west it will reach 15 degrees, while in Belgrade it will be 13. However, the wind will continue to be strong, so the subjective feeling will be that the temperature is a little lower – says Đurić.
When it comes to snow, Đurić says that in the first half of December, it certainly won’t be in the low-lying regions.
– In the second half of December, the weather will be characteristic for this time of year, cold with morning frosts, we may have short-term snowfalls in the lower regions, but it can be said that most of December will be without snow – says Đurić.
