Six members of the group “Leviathan” were arrested yesterday on suspicion of harassing and beating a man BM (43) for the comments he left on the social network Facebook, as “Blic” has learned.

As we learned, BM reported to the Belgrade police that he was attacked in early October and that he had been threatened by phone with “dismemberment” if he did not publicly apologize for the comments he left on Facebook. As we learned, BM left a comment on a photo of “Leviathan” frontman Pavle Bihali, calling him “Dudlac.” This was the reason for the threats, waiting and beatings!

The man suffered minor bodily injuries in the attack, and he handed over all the information about that and the people who beat him to the Belgrade police.

– On October 4 someone called me on the phone and did not show up, but threatened to dismember me if I did not make a video in which I apologize for the comment I posted on Facebook about the activities of the group “Leviathan” and that, without me I knew, the boy told me that he was having this conversation with me by order of the founder of the group “Leviathan”, Pavle Bihali – said the young man attacked in the audience.

Wait instead of work

As we found out the next day, BM called someone on the phone to fix electrical work, which he normally does. BM went to the agreed place to do the work without even realizing that he had been set up there and that a group of men were waiting for him, attacking and beating him.

As we learned, BM claimed that he had already met with the leader of the “Leviathan” group, Pavle Bihali, last year, and that even then he was given a “warning to calm down regarding comments on the social network” .

Only one attacker remained in custody

By order of the First Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade, the police yesterday arrested six members of the “Leviathan” group, on suspicion of harassing and beating the injured BM. Although they were detained for 48 hours, all but one of the members of this group were released.

The investigating judge issued a sentence ordering KB’s detention for up to 30 days due to the existence of circumstances that indicate that he will repeat the crime in a short time.

This information was confirmed yesterday by the leader of the “Leviathan Movement”, Pavle Bihali.

– According to the law, I will not talk about what was written. It is true that six members were arrested, and only KB was kept in custody. I’ll talk about the details later, ”Bihali pointed out.

Likewise, with this decision he rejected the prosecutor’s proposal to order custody against P. M, T. Z, BM and LU due to the existence of circumstances that indicate that they will hinder the process by influencing the injured party.

An appeal against this decision to the extrajudicial criminal panel is allowed within three days from the date of receipt of the decision.

Who are the members of “Leviathan” and what do they really do?

The “Leviathan” movement is made up of young people who hide their identity from the public disguised as ghosts. Exactly that photo, in which six tattooed young men with T-shirts marked with “Leviathan” and ghosts pose above their heads, is the main feature of their Facebook page.

By the way, the “Leviathan” movement on his Facebook profile strictly takes into account the way of expressing threats: “Listen to the stench of a human, scum. We do not say that we will find you today, but surely we will be convinced of that .. You don’t even know what kind of hell you will go through ”, is just one of the examples that members of this extremist group are acting on.

The president of the “Leviathan” movement is Pavle Bihali. On his Facebook profile, he often takes photos of Luka Bojović, the leader of the inherited Zemun clan serving a prison sentence in Spain, Rade Rakonjac, Bojović’s friend who was killed in 2014, and Miljan Vuković, the leader of the group of bikers “Hells Angels”.

There are now members of this group all over Serbia, they present themselves as animal protectors and often take the law into their own hands. They have been detained several times and an investigation has been launched against them several times due to the violence.
