Only with a united policy can you create a majority in Serbia, and my only wish when I proposed the Boycott List was a united participation, said Boris Tadic, former President of Serbia and leader of the SDS, as a guest on H1 television tonight.
– I am in favor of the unity of the opposition, because that is the only way to win the majority in a right-wing society, which means that if you act from the position of a minority, you can only create a majority with a single policy – Trifunovic said.
And that is why the message is unification, because that is the only way to defeat the ruling regime, Tadic added.
When asked by journalist Suzana Trninić if the opposition is united, Sergej Trifunović, the leader of the PSG, said: “At least we still have a common enemy …”.
Speaking about abandoning the idea of a boycott, Tadic said:
– We have declared that there are those who will not go to the polls if they cannot win, and they do not understand that they can only win through defeats. We can only win such a system if we first make some small victories, and then we go through those small victories and defeats until the final victory – Tadic said. He, on the other hand, repeatedly emphasized during the show that he had not yet made a decision about the SDS going to the election.
– Like when Djokovic took the set against Federer the first time … Well, it was like a house – added the president of the Free Citizens Movement, who says he clearly saw “holes in the media called a boycott.” He called Tadic “the old sage Néstor”.
– The boycott became a goal, not a means, they stood together as parties that cannot approve the census, and I joined that in voting for my people in PSG. Even Serbian Turajlić, when he heard that, did not want to participate. When I realized they had no idea, I went out. I do not understand that, they will not sweat and expect success – said Trifunović.
Speaking about the support of the international community, Trifunovic said he was sure he would not react.
He also referred to the text that was published in “Blic”, and in which the meeting between Djilas and the actors of this show was discussed, Trifunovic, visibly rebellious, said that it did not happen “behind his back.”
– I organized that meeting, what kind of paranoia is that in the Serbian people – Trifunović concluded.
