The Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petković, welcomed children from Gračanica in Belgrade today and visited the new monument to Stefan Nemanja.
In a conversation with the children, Petković pointed out how important Stefan Nemanja was as a historical figure for Serbia, culture and religion, the Office for Kosovo and Metohija announced.
After visiting the monument and the renovated Sava Square, Petković walked with the children to Belgrade on the water and presented the project to them.
According to the statement, the visit was started by children from Gracanica with the desire to come to Belgrade that day, to congratulate the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, on his birthday, and the Office helped them to realize their wish and organize their trip. .
The children congratulated Vučić on his birthday with a song, a cake and congratulations, Nova.rs reports, adding that the video in which the children sing to the president was also published in the national television newspaper.
