The third wave of the coronavirus epidemic in Serbia is estimated to reach its peak in the coming days and last for about two weeks, says the coordinator of the Kosovo Ministry of Health, Slobodan Milisavljevic, noting that private sector doctors is a way to overcome this problem.

Milisavljevic pointed out that the Kovid-19 epidemic in our country has lasted more than eight months and that a large number of infected doctors, nurses and technicians, as well as non-medical workers, which, he emphasized, raises the question of how to solve the problem of staff shortages.

– One of the ways is to involve dentists and doctors from the private sector. I am also in contact with our doctors abroad who are ready to leave their jobs and come back to help the health system, Milisavljević told TV Pink.

He stated that more patients with moderately severe and severe clinical picture were in the third wave.

“A large number of patients come to the hospital on their feet and, after a day or two, their condition worsens, even when they report on time,” Milisavljević said.

He emphasized that the vaccine is the only drug to stop the epidemic, and that until the appearance of the proven vaccine, epidemiological measures are the only way to calm the covid-19 infection.
